About the Holding Space
The Holding Space Wellness Collective was created from a simple but powerful intention: to build a space where people feel supported, connected, and grounded in themselves and in community.
Rooted in Northern Ontario, we are inspired by the strength of rock, the depth of water, the warmth of the sun, and the openness of the sky. We believe healing does not happen in isolation. It happens when people gather, when practitioners are supported, and when space is held with intention and care.
More than a studio, The Holding Space is a founder-led wellness collective designed to support both practitioners and the wider community. Our Founding Partners steward the vision, operations, and long-term direction of the Collective while creating an environment where collaboration, professionalism, and mutual respect can flourish.
Our practitioners are independent professionals who bring their unique gifts to the community. They are encouraged to connect, collaborate, refer to one another, share ideas, and contribute to a culture of generosity rather than competition. Together, we create an ecosystem where everyone can thrive.
At the heart of our work is the belief that humans are wired for connection. We all benefit from gathering with like-minded people, learning from one another, and supporting each other through life’s challenges and celebrations. The Holding Space exists to nurture those relationships and to foster a sense of belonging.
Through classes, workshops, trainings, and community events, we create opportunities for meaningful growth and authentic connection, not only between teacher and student, but among neighbors, families, practitioners, and fellow seekers across Northern Ontario.
The Holding Space is built on steadiness, integrity, and conscious leadership. While the Founding Partners are responsible for guiding the business, every person who walks through our doors helps bring our mission to life.
We are here to hold space - for practice, for connection, for growth, and for one another.
